Eastbourne Bowling Club

For the second year running, Eastbourne has won the Premier Interclub Playoffs and will now go forward to the regional playoffs in Kapiti.

On a sunny, blustery day at Naenae, Eastbourne once again showed how the Club punches well above its weight as it took on strong sides from Island Bay, Stokes Valley and Victoria. Excellent results in the first two rounds of the scatter-draw playoff saw Eastbourne heading into the final round as leaders. Ultimately, a nail-biting Pairs match against Stokes Valley was the clincher with Eastbourne winning overall by 7 points and Stokes Valley second.
